2026 Commitments: Let’s Get Serious
A new year. A new chapter. I was planning on writing a whole year retrospective. But honestly, it’ll be better if I just catch up with posts for every individual event, than making a massive recap.
2025 ends on a high note, and so I want 2026 to be even better.
So, here’s the game plan:
- Content Creation. Last year, I managed 68 photo/video sessions. Mostly tests. This year, we’re hitting a hundred. I’ll be doing Kigu multiple times a week. No more excuses. More walks. More adventures. More of you getting to see the world through my lens.
- Camera Upgrade. My phone camera is an insult. We’re saying goodbye to potato quality. The DJI Osmo Pocket 3 is my primary target. I know the 4 is coming, and that’s what I’m waiting for. Once everyone get latest and greatest and that 3 hits the price I want? It’s mine. Gonna capture my strolls with the cinematic quality they deserve.
- Wardrobe Audit. My closet is bursting at the seams. It’s glorious, but wasteful. I’m done buying new outfits for a one-off event. From now on, everything gets used. Hard. This year, I’ll be focusing on perfecting the costumes I already have.
- Mask #4. That blank mask in the corner? The base for my new project? It’s getting done this year. I have no idea how it’’l be looking in the end, but a girl’s got to have dreams, right?
- Learn to Dance. Seriously. My dancing is funny and all, but it makes me wanna die of cringe sometimes. It’s an embarrassment. So I’m signing up for dance lessons. What style? I don’t care! Next year, when I hit the floor, I’ll be graceful. Watch me.
- New Fetishes. I’ve tried a lot last year. Some I liked, some don’t. Most of them were things I’ve already kinda thought about. This year, I want something truly new. Surprising. Daring. I have some ideas… but let’s keep them a secret for now, shall we?
- Blogging. You’re reading this, so you know this place exists. My commitment is to fill it up. All my old stories. Every future adventure. It’s my permanent home. This blog is going to become my official scrapbook.
So that’s it. No more half-measures.
I’m going all-in.
